Dragon Owl Sprite! 100 percent hand made and Poseable!

The only one of its kind, this adorable, unique, hand sculpted poseable fantasy "Dragon Owl Sprite" is a rare piece of artwork being offered up for bid! It's fully posable! This is a completely hand made fantasy creature. I hand sculpted the head, tail and feet onto a posable skeleton that I made and wrapped with stuffing so its very soft. Parts of the imitation fur I have hand dyed while maintaining full softness. I hand paint the clay parts with acrylics.

There is not another creature like this in the world!

I do not use molds, casts or patterns, each is fully hand made and original.

this is so gorgeous, holy cow. How much work does it take to make one of these guys? And also, the overall price for the materials? they look so professionally expensive!

Thank you very much! Its not really the quality of items that make it professional, its how you use them. The clay for the faces and feet are sculpted with the regular white sculpy clay you can find at any Walmart, the brown fur was cut from a scarf also from Walmart. :D As for time spent, approximately 40 some hours for completion. :thanks:

My goodness, I simply adore all your dolls. One of these days, when I have some extra cash on me, one of these will be mine. I hope.

On a seperate note, I have a small question for you- how do you ge too these dolls to pose so wonderfully?! Evertime I try to create something posable the wire is either too resistant and won't bend, or too brittle and breaks when I try to pose the dolls. :I It's a mystery how you get these things to pose so amazingly.

Clothesline wire works good if you're looking for a sturdy but bendable wire. It usually comes in 5 or so strands wrapped together.

I have galvanized steel that's about the same thickness as that, but I noticed that yes, everything seems to be made of twisted wire... hmmm, let's see if I can't find some clothes-wire to pry apart then. XD
Thank you for the insight~<3
