Reunited.... by Wood-Splitter-Lee Reunited.... by Wood-Splitter-Lee
I've just flown in and arrived home from New Zealand after three months!

Tumble (my Dog) suffered from severe depression and stopped eating after I had left. His face when he saw me coming out from the air port...If a dog could cry from uncontainable joy and shock, he practically was...

awww. Our dogs were the same! It is heartbreaking to leave them but sometimes no matter how much you get them used to others they only want you (or my hubby in our case...sigh boofy gets left out in the cold again) I hope you are both happy now.

That's a Chow, yes? My mom had one of those once. They tend to imprint on one owner and are not usually trustful of other people.

If Tumble is still a puppy, it's recommended that you socialize it with strangers so he doesn't become so heart broken when/if you have to leave again. They tend to give respect to only one or two owners and can become aloof or disrespectful of any other authority figure otherwise...

It's a pom I believe. Chows are much bigger.

You are going to have to take him with you next time! It seems you are his ONLY family regardless of his caretakers when you are away! :O

So sweet! I have a pomeranian as well and they are just the best dogs. And very attached to their people.

I wondered sometimes how you coped with putting so many up for adoption.

My parents got us a puppy 8 years ago but were pretty Victorian about dogs - They yelled, just once, and Sable (our sheltie) started crying tears. They never thought of him or any dog as less than a person again.

You guys look like family n.n
